Cancellations often deprive other customers of treatments, so appointments not cancelled within 24 hours will incur a 50 per cent charge/ deduction from gift voucher total. Treatments over 2 hours require 48 hours notice.

A deposit must be paid to secure future bookings. This is done by bank card online/ in salon or by providing a gift voucher number.  Failure to adhere to cancellation policy will result in the loss of this deposit and 50% of the remaining balance as stated above

Gift vouchers cannot be used to make online deposits.  If you wish to use a gift voucher to secure your booking please contact the salon with your gift voucher number to hand

When booking your treatment please let us know if you are pregnant, or suffer from any allergies or medical conditions as some treatments may not be suitable for you.  Sanctuary-by-the-sea reserves the right to refuse practicing a treatment that is deemed unsuitable.

Please allow time to change and consult with your therapist before your treatment. Arriving late will deprive you of precious minutes of your treatment.

Gift vouchers are available for treatments and monetary values, and are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.  They will not be accepted after the expiry date under any circumstances.  Gift vouchers are non-refundable, non-transferable and it is the responsibility of the customer to book with adequate notice to ensure use before expiry.  When buying a gift voucher you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. Please do not be abusive to our staff or put them in an uncomfortable position by asking about vouchers that have passed their expiry date

There is a £1.50 transaction fee for postage of gift vouchers within the UK. For stress-free purchasing, simply call with your credit card details and we can post the gift voucher direct with a personalised greeting.  Or why not avail of our online gift vouchers? Have one drop into a loved one’s inbox all from the comfort of your own sofa!

We adore children but we all need a little special time away from them. For their safety we are unable to allow them within treatment rooms.

Sanctuary-by-the-sea is a place of peace and relaxation. As many of our clients come to relax and unwind, we kindly request clients to switch off mobile phones and keep noise to a minimum whilst in the salon.

Some treatments may require a deposit.

All treatment times stated are approximate and may vary depending on individual needs.

Prices are subject to change without notice

All prices are inclusive of 20% VAT

We operate a no refunds policy.  An exchange may be offered at the manager’s discretion

Our couches have a maximum weight limit of 42 stone/ 266kg

We will not tolerate threatening or inappropriate behaviour and reserve the right to refuse service if deemed necessary
